The feeling of pain

Fills that moment with stillness

As on starts to feel a sense of numbness

Where everything seems in vain

Breaking the profound silence

To overcome the misery

Maybe slowly, but surely

The notion of time

Is so simple yet complex

At times having ample of it

And at others scrambling to find some

While some things get done

Other things don’t

Celebrating achievements

Pondering on regrets

As one searches for the right balance

Trying to figure out the chaos

Within oneself and externally

Coming face to face with reality

One may not be able to do everything they want
